St. Paul's is one block from Ground Zero. Actually it's back yard is
directly across the street from Ground Zero. According to one of the
church officials standing outside the church they did not suffer
an damage to the building. Not even a cracked window!

If you're a religious or spiritual person you can say that
the power of God protected the building. If not then you
can simply say that they don't build buildings like they
used to hundreds of years ago.
